Anna Stoehr celebrated her 114th birthday on the 15th of October 2014. Anna wanted to join Facebook but ran into problems. It wasn’t her lack of tech and software skills that made signing up difficult, but because she was literally too old for Facebook! 1900, Anna’s year of birth, wasn’t listed in the year catalogue – the furthest back it could go one was 1905. And since she really wanted to join the social network, she did what any kid would do and she lied about her age. The 144 year old granny quickly listed herself as a 99 year old US citizen.

Now she’s already become a tech maniac and loves spending time on the social networking website. She also wrote a letter to Mark Zuckerberg regarding the inconvenience she experienced.
