Back in the distant 1941 two kids went to the Lamb’s Grill in Salt Lake City, Utah, but couldn’t pay their $1 meal, so they opted to dash instead of face what was coming for them. Nowadays, 70 years later, one of those kids got so guilt-ridden by his childish actions back in the days that he went to the same Lamb’s Grill restaurant in order to repay his dept. The man, who’s in his 80s, was feeling too guilty about his deeds, so he asked his daughter to walk inside the restaurant. The woman talked with a waitress and explained that her father had been feeling extremely guilty ever since his childhood years. Francis Liong, the current owner of the restaurant, told the media that the $5 repayment bill was never intended for him, but for the grill’s previous owners.
Regardless of this fact, Mr. Liong claimed that he forgave the dine-and-dash customer and that he would be happy to have him at the grill…as long as he pays the bill this time.
