When our children want to play with our own tech toys, for example the smartphone or the Xbox console, our worry comes from the fear that they might break them. However, in this case the playful child gave her parents something which was already broken – a vintage Austin-Healey Sprite from 1962.
Sorella Stoute, a toddler from Oregon, was playing with her daddy’s smartphone earlier this year. The child had just turned 14 months and was completely unaware of what she was doing. Somehow she managed to tap her way through the eBay app on the phone and bought the car by accident. Her parent’s realized what Sorella had done only when the father saw the e-mail, which was confirming his bid. And as you probably can guess, they couldn’t back out from the deal just because their infant had closed it.
Over all, the parents decided to keep the good for nothing car. According to the father, he wants to fix it so it would be a present for Sorella’s 16th birthday one day.
