Morgan Freeman is one of the most talented actors and a Hollywood legend. However, many of his fans might not be aware that besides acting the actor had another passion – airplanes. Even though Freeman participated in numerous school plays and won many acting awards, he decided to put aside his drama talent and pursue his dream to work in Air Force.
Freeman spent more than three and a half years in Air Force and waited for more than a year to start training for a fighter pilot. However, once he sat in the cockpit he realized that wasn’t what he wanted to do. Soon, Freeman left the Air Force and moved to Los Angeles.
It took him almost twenty years acting on stage, in a soap opera and children’s program before he reached world wide fame. His roles in movies such as ‘Seven’, ‘The Shawshank Redemption’ and ‘Invictus’ have turned him into a prominent actor loved by the audience for generations.
