Do you know how much Arnold Schwarzenegger made from saying the famous “Hastla la vista, baby” in Terminator 2: Judgment Day?
According to official reports, the ex-Governor of California became Mr. Universe at the age of 20 and pocketed the lucrative sum of $15 million when he portrayed the leading role in Terminator 2 in 1991. Throughout his role Schwarzenegger spoke around 700 words. It’s kind of hard not to remember so little lines, right? Apart from having a lack of speech, Arny also got paid $21,429 to utter a single word. That’s right – more than $20,000 for one word, which practically means that he got $85,716 for uttering one of his most famous lines.
To add a quick reminder: other than “Hasta la vista, baby”, the Terminator is also famous for several other iconic lines, including “I’ll be back” and “Come with me if you want to live”.
