I recently came across an article, which stated that celebrating New Year at Times Square is an awful choice. In fact, the article’s author stated that it’s probably the worst possible choice.
Crowded places aren’t always fun, public drinking is forbidden on Times Square, the temperatures are low and there are no public restrooms. The latter part is the most frustrating part of the whole experience. Temporary restrooms are placed on Times Square, but the lines are beyond your imagination’s limits. Furthermore, it would be nearly impossible to make your way through the crowd. And in order to cope with these inconveniences, some people are taking extreme measures. Reports state that many people are willing to wear adult diapers in order to relieve themselves during the long night. Many tourists and elder people prefer to wear the diapers instead of putting a hold on their physical bladder needs. As gruesome and repulsive as it sounds, apparently it’s become a widely popular solution.
Think twice before you decide to visit Times Square on a New Year’s Eve!
