Juan Marquez Nieto is part of the United Wishes for Peace movement. He took part in one of the organized marches across the state of Mexico in order to promote peace. The man started his walk across the state nearly 2 months ago. It took him 57 days to arrive in Mexico City while still juggling the football. His cross-walk and his open call for peace have gone viral and Juan is making headlines all across the world. Over the course of the past 2 months Juan has completed the very first leg of his cross-walk tour and he’s not planning on taking any breaks. The man has stated that he’ll head north for the second leg of the cross-walk, although it’s not clear how far the second part of the cross tour will take him.
Juan and many other Mexicans took part in the United Wishes for Peace march, which kicked off from Guerrero in November.
