If you are dying to see your name or the name of a loved one, or any word or phrase as the homepage for Google, then all you need to do is go to: and type in the word you would like to see as the name for the search engine.

Voila! With one click you will have your very own personalized homepage for your favorite search engine.

Another great way to pass some time and have some fun is to play and even record yourself on Google’s own Les Paul guitar. All you need to do is perform a Google search for “ Google guitar” and the first result you will receive is a link to the fantastic doodle, which the Google team made as a tribute to one of the inventors of the electric guitar and brilliant guitarist Les Paul. Go on, try it out!

The inventive Google team offers its users some other not so useful, but truly fun hidden features, including “Google gravity” and “Google space”. When you search for one of these you will be directed to a link where either all you web pages and contents will “fall” down and crash on the bottom of the screen supposedly under the forces of gravity, or “fly around” as if they are floating in space.

When someone asks you to help them find something on Google, there is a special feature called Lmgtfy or “let me Google it for you”. When you enter your query, you will get a shortened direct link to the search results, which you can quickly mail or communicate to your friend.
