There are funny images on the internet, and there are also sad, depressing ones. There also are a lot of disturbing ones.

However, some of them are just interesting, so they are worth checking out. At the very least, they are good for a chuckle or will make you think for a second or two.

Here are twelve images that are interesting enough you might want to take a look.

1. The Inside of the Apple

Unless you’re allergic to them or something, which is actually possible, you have probably eaten several apples during the course of your life. I don’t know about you, but I have never seen one that is this color on the inside. I don’t know what happened to this one, but I would be afraid to eat it.

As mentioned above, it is possible to be allergic to apples. There are actually a couple forms of apple allergies, and one of them is called bitch-apple syndrome. It is most typically found in northern Europe. Generally, the allergic reaction consists of inflammation of the throat and the mouth, as well at itching; however, the allergy can theoretically be life-threatening.

2. The Total Strangers

From what I understand, these two are total strangers. However, with the exception of the height difference, they look almost exactly alike. They certainly look happy about it, though, and I like to think they ended up becoming best friends.

I have to wonder if they took any sort of test to figure out if they are actually related. I wouldn’t be surprised. They could be distant cousins, certainly. I know for a fact I have distant cousins who I never met. I imagine I vaguely resemble them, but I wouldn’t know them if I ran into them on the street.

In this case, someone could have been given up for adoption at some point and had a baby, and maybe that baby is one of these two. I am not saying that is what happened, but it certainly could have happened.

3. The Duck In the Stroller

I think ducks can be rather cute, but I really have to wonder about a person who pushes one around in a stroller. I am assuming it is some sort of pet duck, but why is it in a stroller? I can only assume it was on its way to a veterinarian appointment. People do keep ducks as pets in their backyards, after all. It seems like a curious choice if you are looking for companionship, but ducks can be very pretty. They are simply adorable when they are babies.

Ducks have a long history with human beings, of course, dating back thousands of years. They are farmed for their meat, as well as their down and their eggs. There is also foie gras, which is made from goose or duck liver. It is particularly popular in France and other countries in Europe, although it is sort of a controversial product because of the way the birds are intentionally fattened.

4. The Rock and the Line

I am no meteorologist or environmental expert, so I can’t explain how this rock ended up with such an impressively perfect line on it.

That is definitely pretty interesting. I doubt the people who regularly see it appreciate it, though. There’s a lot of stuff out there in nature that is really cool to look at, but most people these days are too busy looking at their phones and updating their social media profiles. Social media can be a great thing and all—it definitely helps people stay connected—but as a result people tend to miss out on the simple pleasures of life.

In this case, though, social media and smartphones allowed us to see this really neat rock.
When I think of rocks, I tend to think of the Pet Rock, which was popular during the 1970s. I didn’t technically exist in the 1970s, so I didn’t get to enjoy owning one. I am fascinated by the fact that the guy who created them ended up becoming a millionaire. I am also surprised that people would pay four dollars for a rock.

If you are really interested in an original Pet Rock for some reason, there are many available on eBay. You can get one for about thirteen dollars. They’re not the cuddliest things in the world, sure, but they’re not going to destroy your furniture or do their business in your house.

5. The Hidden Knife

If you can’t see the knife in this image, I can’t judge you. At first, I didn’t. Honestly, when I first looked at this picture I wondered what I was looking at. I couldn’t figure out what was so interesting about it.

When you think of knives, you might think of the Bowie knife. It is a certain type of fighting knife that was first made in the early 1800s for a person named Jim Bowie. It was used in a duel.
If you are not familiar with Bowie, he was an American pioneer who was involved in the Texas Revolution. He ended dying due to the Battle of the Alamo; since his death, he has become something of a folk hero.

In regard to the knife named after him, you have seen them in several movies, including “Friday the 13th” and the “Rambo” movies. They can also be used in several video games, including many games in the “Call of Duty” series.

6. The Chimney on the House

If you look closely, the chimney of this house looks like a tiny version of the house, which is adorable. I wonder if it actually works or if it is just there for decoration.

I can’t imagine why anyone would pay what was probably a considerable sum of money for a custom chimney. Then again, I know a guy that makes those really fancy mailboxes that look like houses, and he manages to make a pretty decent living. In his defense, he does an absolutely great job. He puts a lot of work into them. I suppose the lesson to be learned is that there is a market for almost anything. After all, a guy did become rich by selling Pet Rocks.

7. The Lid to the Can of Food

I do love that food comes in cans, and I eat a lot of food that comes in cans, but the lids can be sort of obnoxious. If you have ever cut your finger on one, you’ll know what I mean. They are also easy to misplace, which makes them even more dangerous.

My mother once cut her finger on a lid so badly that she needed to go to the hospital for stitches. There was blood gushing everywhere. It made for a strange holiday.

8. The Pen

This pen apparently melted in the sun, probably because it was left in a car on a hot day. I can’t say that has ever happened to me, but I believe it. I have definitely had leaky pens ruin my clothing. In one unfortunate case, it ruined a piece of furniture.

It is kind of weird how, in this day and age, pens can still cost so very much money. Nieman Marcus sells pens that cost over $400. They are gold-plated, which explains the cost, but why would anyone want one? Isn’t there a better way to spend a few hundred dollars? The only time I use a pen is when I am writing birthday cards or taking phone messages. I haven’t technically written anything down on a piece of paper in over a week.

9. The Really Narrow Door

I don’t understand why this door is so narrow. I guess there could be an optical illusion situation going on. Is the room just really tall?

Assuming the room isn’t particularly tall, there is something weird going on here. Why would anyone make a narrow door? Some architect or contractor really messed up here. Other than supermodels and very small children, who could actually manage to fit through this door?

10. The Napkin Support

I really don’t understand the point of “napkin support”. The whole image is just bizarre. I do notice there is a liquor store in the background of this image, which might explain the whole situation.
I am not a big fan of eating outside. It isn’t that I mind the outdoors so much; it is just that food and sugary beverages tend to attract bugs, especially bees.

In theory, I like bees. I know how important they are to the environment, and I also like honey. However, it hurts when they sting you. If you have an insect sting allergy, a bee sting can be extremely fatal.

If you have ever seen the movie “My Girl”, which came out in 1991, one of the main characters was actually killed by bee stings. It was kind of a strange movie. It is all about a young girl who is obsessed with death because her father runs a funeral home. She ends up losing her best friend.

It was relatively successful, though. A sequel was released a few years later. It wasn’t particularly well received, but the acting was considered pretty good by critics.

11. The Bottle and the Bubbles

I do like that the bubbles resemble the foot on the label. I don’t know how that happened, but it is definitely interesting to look at. I wonder if that’s a bad sign about the quality of the wine, though. I rarely see bubbles in bottles of wine.

I know a lot of people who drink wine, and they are snobs; they don’t give Barefoot nearly enough credit. It has won many awards, and it has been around for quite a while. In fact, the brand has been around since 1986, and there are over a dozen different “Barefoot” wines. The company is currently owned by a winery that has been around since the 1930s.

Barefoot wines can be found in many places throughout the world, including the United States, Asia, Europe, and Canada.
