There is a lot to see on the internet. A lot of it is funny. There is a decent amount of heartwarming stuff, too.
There are many pictures of cute animals. There are almost too many pictures of cute animals, honestly; you will never be able to look at them all. The puppy pictures alone will completely overwhelm you.
A good percentage of the content, though, is kind of disturbing. There are those images out there that you wish you had never seen. Once you see them, you won’t be able to un-see them.
You might as well take a look, though. Here are thirteen examples of images you will likely want to forget you ever saw.
1. The Bees and the Bike Seat

I am sincerely hoping that no one made the unfortunate choice to sit on this seat in the state it is in. I can’t even imagine how unpleasant an experience that would have been. I would be sincerely mad if I were the owner of this bike—for obvious reasons.
However, it is sort of difficult to be mad at bees; they are pretty vital to the planet, after all. They are also pretty fascinating. There are over 20,000 different types of bees, and people have been keeping bees for thousands of years.
Bees have also fascinated people for thousands of years. There are rock paintings that are well over 10,000 years old that depict bees. There have been poems about bees, and there was an even an animated movie about bees. That film was called “Bee Movie”, and it came out in 2007. It starred Jerry Seinfeld, who was one of the writers, as well as Renée Zellweger, Chris Rock, John Goodman, and Patrick Warburton.
Critical reception to the film was sort of mixed, and the box office performance was mediocre.
Seriously, though, you really have to wonder if anyone ever used the bike in this image again. Personally, I would be afraid to do so.
2. The Naked Person

I will freely admit that I was fooled by this image. I wondered why I had to look at it.
However, if you really look closely, you will see that you are not looking at a naked person at all; you are just looking at two people who are both partially clothed. They are half-naked, sure, but there is nothing problematic or inappropriate about this particular image.
It is good to see people wearing hats on the beach. Too much sun is not a good thing. First of all, too much sun exposure ages people prematurely. It can also cause skin cancer. In fact, most cases of skin cancer are caused by ultraviolet radiation.
Fortunately, the survival rates for skin cancer are pretty good. It can be deadly, though, of course. Tens of thousands of people die every year due to skin cancer. According to certain reports, while cancer rates are generally falling, the incidence of a certain type of skin cancer is growing.
3. The Spider Nest

This is an enormous spider nest. If you were not afraid of spiders before, you might be now.
A lot of people are afraid of spiders, and they definitely have their reasons. While most are not terribly dangerous to humans, there definitely are a few species that can be dangerous. Fortunately, though, they really only bite when they feel threatened. Only about 100 people died due to spider bites in the 20th century. Many more people died as a result of being stung by a jellyfish.
Being bit by a toxic spider certainly does not sound fun. Symptoms include pain and itching at the site of the bite, stomach cramps, wheezing, headache, sweating, chills, and muscular weakness.
Still, though, as mentioned above, they generally don’t bite and most spider bites aren’t dangerous, so you probably shouldn’t be terrified of spiders. The irrational fear of spiders is known as arachnophobia, and there was a move called “Arachnophobia”. It came out in July of 1990 and starred both Jeff Daniels and John Goodman. It was a horror-comedy and did pretty well at the box office. In general, most critics seemed to like the movie.
4. The Burger in the Pocket

This is such a strange image. You have to wonder what the people nearby were thinking. Who stores their food in such a fashion? I totally get wanting to have food available in case you get hungry, of course, but this is just weird. That guy’s pants are definitely going to get a stain or two. Is having a snack available really worth that?
Most pants aren’t cheap. Couldn’t he have just carried a bag of pretzels around in his pocket? That burger does not really look like it is holding up.
That said, hamburgers and cheeseburgers are delicious. There is a reason they are eaten almost everywhere in the world. No one really knows for sure, though, where they were invented. There have been many claims, certainly, but we might never really know.
5. The Bread and the Vodka

I can’t decide if this is brilliant or disturbing. On the one hand, if you have to smuggle booze into places, you might have a problem with alcohol. On the other hand, you might just be the sort of person that does not like paying exorbitant prices for alcohol at events. You really can get gouged.
Regardless, the method is kind of clever, although it is sort of strange to carry around a bag of bread. That is not a thing most people do. Also, is he just drinking straight vodka? That could also be considered a curious thing to do.
Absolut Vodka is a pretty popular brand, though. It was first introduced in the 19th century, but it has only been available globally for about 40 years. It is produced in southern Sweden, and it is one of the largest brands of alcoholic spirits in the world. Only Bacardi and Smirnoff are larger.
Due to the smile on the guy’s face, I am guessing he had a pretty good time at what seems to be a music festival.
6. The Ankle Monitors

This is a depressing image. The young woman is wearing two ankle monitors, which is about two too many. Most people think having one is bad enough. Having to wear to wear two suggests you might want to take a good hard look at your life and maybe make better choices.
I didn’t even know that you could end up having to wear two. Why would that even be the case? Is the young woman in this image being monitored by two different police departments? If that is indeed the case, she needs to think about her behavior.
7. The Hair and the Airplane

Travelling by plane really can be the worst. I don’t fault the airlines or anybody who works for them, but being stuck in a plane for more than two hours or so can just be a truly dreadful experience. This is an example of why it can be dreadful. Why is that hair there? Doesn’t that person realize what she’s doing?
All complaining aside, though, we should be glad air travel is possible. When it comes to crossing oceans, it certainly beats the alternatives.
Air travel is generally safe. It is actually a lot safer than travelling by car; however, it comes with its own risks. There are health hazards, including deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which can be an extremely serious condition.
Also, you have to consider the fact people sit in confined spaces for pretty long periods of time. That definitely increases the transmission rate of airborne infections. If you are like many of us, you frequently end up with a cold or respiratory illness after being on a plane.
8. The Dog In the Stroller

There is a lot wrong with this particular situation. Why is the dog in the stroller? It should be sniffing stuff and running around and peeing wherever it wants. That is what dogs are supposed to do!
The poor kid looks so depressed, too, which is a major bummer. Why isn’t he interacting at all with the dog? The child looks like he just wants his day to end already—an experience to which many of us can relate—and that is sad.
No one so young should be looking so depressed. Someone should buy him a toy.
9. The Paintbrush and the Hair

There is nothing wrong with the hair color, per se, but it is very strange that it is pretty much the exact color of that particular paintbrush. Is that a popular hair color? Hairbrush?
It really would be weird if the whole thing was intentional and not just a coincidence.
Why would anyone take this picture? I do not think that having the color of your hair compared to a hairbrush is anything that anyone should really want, but that is just me.
Then again, I have seen many weird hairstyles in my day. I have noticed that pink hair is becoming really popular again.
10. The Condoms and the Ramen

People hide condoms in weird places. I have heard my fair share of stories over the years. Hiding them in ramen, though? That might be the weirdest thing I have ever heard.
First of all, siblings should not be going through one another’s stuff. That’s not cool. Second of all, the sibling should just be glad that the brother is practicing safe sex. That is important. The decision to practice unsafe sex can, as we all know, lead to pretty serious consequences.
Does anyone else find the particular type of ramen to be sort of hilarious? Who hides condoms in “shrimp” ramen? Was that intentional?
Hopefully, the sibling didn’t tattle on the brother.
11. The Feline and the Food

I should, and do, feel bad for this poor pet. It just wants its food, which is completely understandable.
However, the simple fact of the matter is that this creature could probably afford to skip a meal or twenty. I am no veterinarian, but that simply can’t be a healthy weight. Animal obesity is really no laughing matter.
Still, the image is kind of funny. An intervention might be in order.
12. The Killer Dolls

If I saw these things while on a train or a bus, I would be terrified. I love the movies, but they also scare me.
If you are not familiar with the “Chucky” movies, they can be truly terrifying. The first one came out in 1988, and there have been six sequels. They’re all about a doll named Chucky that is possessed by a pretty nasty serial killer.
The first three movies were scary, and then the next couple were more comedic in tone, and the next two were more traditional scary movies. There is talk of a television series about the doll, and there is a good chance at least one more movie about the killer doll will be made. Chucky is very popular, so he is not going anywhere. Curiously enough, all of the movies share one continuity, which is sort of unusual for a horror series. There has never been any sort of “reboot”.
