Trying to define all celebrity couples at once is something rather tricky, because there is always some uncertainty when you talk about some of them. Just when you thought some of these couples were going to be together for eternity, they suddenly split up, leaving you speechless. These people have difficult and busy lives, which is the biggest reason most of them split.
However, we are not going to focus on the ones who chose to break-up; instead we will show some couples who really proved that time and different problems were not going to destroy their relationship.
1. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson
Some fans joke about the actor’s wife and the fact that her last name corresponds to the volleyball from Castaway. You can bet that if Hanks gets stranded in real life with similar circumstances, he would picture his wife’s face on that ball every second. They have been married for 30 years.
2. Mathew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker
The famous couple has been together for more than 20 years; their love story began in 1997. While SJP’s character in Sex and the City had a lot of misfortune, the actress seems to have exactly the opposite experience in real life, because she found her real Mr. Big.

These two blonds are probably one of the funniest couples in existence. The romance between them began in 2004, and four years later they were officially married, after which they decided to become vegan and seem happy as ever.
4. Will Smith and Jada Pinket Smith
These two look like they were made for each other. An interesting fact about their relationship is the way they actually met. She went to the audition for the role of Will’s girlfriend in Fresh Prince, but she was rejected. Not a big deal, obviously, since she got the real man for herself.

Here’s one example of true love that stood the test of time. The couple never got married, but that did not stop them from being inseparable since 1983. They have a son, Wyatt Hudson, who decided to continue the family legacy and became an actor as well.

One of the longest-lasting couples on the list! They have been together for more than 40 years! They met in 1977, and Pauletta rejected Denzel’s marriage proposals a few times before she finally agreed and they got married in 1983. Despite her being four years older than him, the lovebirds have always enjoyed their strong bond.
7. Meryl Streep and Don Gummer
Their story began in 1978, which was a hard time for the actress, after her partner passed away. Gummer let her use his apartment and they fell in love shortly after that. Needless to say, they have been together ever since.
8. Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness
Love at first sight may actually exist, because this is what happened with these two. Their wedding followed within a year of the start of their relationship, and Jackman says that his wife is the greatest thing that he ever experienced and that their connection grows deeper over time.
9. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend
The Grammy Award winner and is wife met on the set of Legend’s ‘Stereo’ video eleven years ago, and they have been inseparable ever since. The cute couple has a daughter named Luna, and they seem to be in perfect harmony with each other.
10. Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher
If you are convinced that two opposites cannot form a healthy bond, this couple is here to prove you wrong. The comedian and the Australian actress are a perfect fit. They spend eight beautiful years before getting married and Fisher compares their relationship to a lottery win.
11. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.
One of the cutest Hollywood couples met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997 and got married five years later. Despite the rumors about splitting up, they have been together ever since, proving that their love was real.

One of the world’s most famous couples has been through some ups and downs, but their love proved to be stronger than their problems, and they cherished their relationship, which is admirable. They look like they have been made to be with each other and there’s no doubt about that in our minds.
13. Oprah Winfrey and Stedman Graham
Yet another couple that never got married and that proved to be the best decision for them. Even better – it did not stop them from being together for 32 years, and Oprah says that she rejected her man’s proposals a few times. According to her, they wouldn’t be together now if they got married years ago.
