14 People Who Really Needed To Pause For A Moment And Think

It is really important to think before you act. Unfortunately, a lot of people do not.
It makes sense. People have emotions and tempers. At times, it can be fun to be impulsive. Trying new things can be good. Still, it is almost always best to properly think through your decisions, especially if they are major life decisions. For example, you shouldn’t marry someone in Vegas whom you have only known for a couple of days. That is a bad move. Divorce isn’t cheap.
Here are fifteen examples of people who really needed to take a minute and just think.

1. The Cookies and the Salsa

I will never understand this combination of flavors. I enjoy both Oreo cookies and salsa, but there are just some foods that should not be combined.

Personally, I prefer salsa to cookies. Really, when you think about it, it is sort of amazing how many different types of salsa there are. If you have never tried a salsa made with mango, you should endeavor to do so as soon as possible.

The most popular type of salsa, at least in the United States, is sometimes referred to as “red sauce”. It is generally made with tomatoes that have been cooked, cilantro, garlic, chili peppers, and onions.

2. The Guy on the Fake Beach

At least this guy is being honest about what he is doing. You have to respect him for that. He definitely made a point.

I know a lot of people, believe it or not, who don’t use social media at all. The reasons vary, but most of them seem to think that the vast majority of things posted are sort of fake. People are just trying to feed their own egos by making themselves look better than they actually are. The grass really is greener on social media.

In that one picture, the guy really does look like he is having a great time. He doesn’t look too miserable in the other picture, though. I have no idea why there is a giant pile of sand there. That is sort of weird.

3. The Scene With the Toilet

I don’t know why a person is apparently trying to peep in this situation. First of all, there is no one on the toilet, so what is he looking at?

Also, people should not spy on other people doing their business. I understand there are those out there who really enjoy watching that; I don’t understand it, but I know there are people who do.

Still, people really should respect the privacy of others. This just isn’t right.
Also, why was a restroom built like this? What a strange design choice.

4. The Driving Baby

I seriously hope this image has been manipulated in some way. I am assuming Photoshop was used in some fashion.

If not, the guy is seriously endangering the life of a baby. She does look super cute driving the car, and she seems to be doing a fine job, but it is still very unsafe. The guy looks surprisingly calm, though. Maybe the baby is a great driver; you never know.

It should be worth noting that there are car seat laws in most western countries. If your kid is under two, it certainly has to be in a car seat. Also, it is a bad idea to have any living thing, including pets, in your lap when you drive. Even a relatively minor accident could result in a pretty fatal situation.

5. The Toilet Paper

Why did this happen? What insane person decided this was a good idea? Anyone who saw this particular roll of toilet paper was probably pretty upset, especially if they were in dire need.

I am guessing this was some sort of ridiculous prank. If I had to guess, I would say that someone threw a party and really wanted to tick off his or her guests for some reason. I would definitely be irritated if I experienced this particular situation.

There are things we take for granted in this day and age, and toilet paper is one of them. Can you imagine having to live in a world without toilet paper? It would be a much smellier world, and it would not be a world I’d like to visit.

6. The Bulldozer on the Roof

I have literally no idea what is going on here. Is the building being demolished? If so, this can’t be the most efficient way of doing it. The job will get done eventually, I suppose, but it will certainly take a while.

I actually don’t know where this picture was taken, but the whole area looks sort of depressing. There is probably a very good reason this building needs to go. I am guessing no one has used it in a very long time.

7. The Pizza in the Milk

Why would anyone do this? Pizza is delicious on its own. It doesn’t need to be dipped in anything. It certainly doesn’t need to be dipped in milk. Isn’t there enough dairy in the cheese?

If you absolutely must dip your pizza in something, there are acceptable things into which it can be dipped. Personally, I recommend hot sauce or barbeque sauce. I have actually seen someone dip pizza into coffee. I can’t imagine why she did that, though; I am assuming she just really liked coffee.

I also saw someone dip pizza into wine. I am assuming that person simply had a drinking problem. Then again, pizza does go great with wine.
Dipping pizza into milk is just gross, though.

8. The Car and the CD Player

I really don’t understand why anyone would do this. Granted, compact discs are rarely used anymore, but why ruin a perfectly good player?

That said, I only know one person who still uses CDs to listen to music. He carries around a bag full of them. This has been going on for years now. He has a computer and an iPhone, so that just makes the whole situation even more confusing.

It is kind of funny to think that CDs used to be so very popular. Hundreds of billions have been sold since they were introduced 36 years ago. They are incredibly easy to damage, which makes them sort of irritating, but they did serve a very valid purpose for a very long time. Frankly, I doubt they will stop being used completely anytime soon.

9. The Car and the Kid

I would not want to be the parent of this small child. I wouldn’t want to be the small child, either. Even if that kid has the most understanding parents in the world, you know he is going to get into some trouble. If I owned that vehicle, I would probably be in tears. If the damage to the vehicle can be repaired, it will cost the owners hundreds of dollars.

Then again, if you have a kid, you should just expect spending hundreds of dollars every time you turn around. The average cost of raising a child in the United States is well over $200,000. That doesn’t even include the cost of sending them to college, which can cost another $100,000 or more.

10. The Fake Couple’s Hand Shot

This guy was clearly faking a couple hand shot. Admittedly, he was being pretty subtle about the whole thing.

Why would anyone do that, though? I am assuming he was either making a joke or wanted to post it to social media so that his friends, family, and other contacts thought he had a significant other. I’ll never understand why people are so obsessed with looking good on social media. There is nothing wrong with being single, after all. People shouldn’t be ashamed by that. It is hard to find the right person, and it is probably better to be single than settle for the wrong person.

11. The Banana Water

Flavored water is great. It is important to stay hydrated, but regular old water can be sort of boring. That is why flavored water is so very popular these days. Personally, I really like cucumber water. The flavor is subtle, but it definitely adds something.

Banana water just sounds gross, though. Why would anyone drink that? Bananas aren’t even that good for you. They are known for being high in potassium, but they really aren’t. Cooked soybeans have more potassium, as do portabella mushrooms. They are mostly just water, really. The vitamin C content isn’t even that high. They aren’t bad for you, certainly, but they are also not the healthiest food one can eat.

12. The Guy With the Tag On His Suit

It is important to look your best when you go into a job interview. Chances are, if you show up in a t-shirt and jeans, you won’t get the job. If there are employers out there that hire people who show up in jeans, I want to work at that place.

This guy definitely tried to look good. The tie is nice, and he is clean shaven, and it looks like he got a haircut. However, he probably should have removed the tag from his suit. That’s a huge tag, too. How did he not notice that one?

Regardless, I hope he got the job. They can be difficult to come by.

If you are not familiar with Myer, it is a chain of department stores in Australia. It is the largest in the country, both in terms of revenue and the number of stores. It was founded almost 120 years ago in Victoria, and it employs over 14,000 people.

13. The Truck and the Enormous Rocks

This appears to be a very dangerous situation. Trucks should not be carrying around more than they are supposed to hold.

Could you imagine driving behind this vehicle on a freeway? You would be scared for your life, I am sure. I would have assumed there were actual laws preventing such a situation, but that might not actually be the case. I just hope the person in control of this truck is a good driver.

14. The Guy In Front of the Store

Considering this guy is in front of a store that clearly sells alcohol, I am just going to assume he had one too many. That’s the only possible explanation for this particular scenario. It is also the only possible explanation for what he is wearing. What is going on with the sock situation?

It just isn’t a good look. There is nothing good about it. He needs to hire a fashion consultant immediately.

Judging from one of the signs in the window, I am assuming this took place in the city of Philadelphia. I have been to the city several times, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a guy doing that there. It can be a weird place. It is also one of the biggest cities in the United States. More than 1.5 million people live there, and it was also home to the United States’ first library. It was also the United States’ temporary capitol.
