Most images on the internet are the sort you really only want to look at once. They are not really that clever or interesting. They do not really make you think.
However, there are those that you absolutely have to look at more than once. They make you wonder about life and the planet we all share. At times, you really can’t look away.
Here are 18 amusing pictures that you will definitely want to look at more than once.
1. The Guy and the Tank Top
When you really think about it, there is no reason a guy should not wear a tank top if he wants to. Guys should be able to wear whatever they want, after all. Anyone should be able to wear whatever they want.
Really, in my opinion, it is the age of the guy who appears to be wearing the tank top that is sort of surprising. He is actually pulling it off.
Naturally, of course, there is a mirror in this image. You might need to look at the image more than once to realize that.
Regardless, it is a pretty funny image. The grin on the guy’s face totally sells it.
2. The Birthday Party
I hope that Jana had a really nice birthday party. Not everyone gets a nice birthday party—even once in their lives. It appears as if people are having a great time. Everyone is engaged in conversation, which is what you want at parties.
The angle at which this photo was taken, however, was truly unfortunate. We all know what the name Jana looks like from this angle. This is sort of sad. Jana will not be able to show this picture to her children—at least not until they are adults. It will probably be a little awkward when they are adults, really.
The balloons look really nice, and the fans appear to be keeping everyone nice and cool.
3. The Photo Double
If you look at the image on the left, everything looks perfectly normal. You have to look at it pretty closely to notice that something is up.
The image on the right proves that something is definitely up. The young man is sleeping in class—which is something most of us have done at least once. Most of us had that one teacher that almost always put us to sleep.
You just could not stay awake in their presence. The reasons varied. It might have been the time of day the class was held—or it may have been the fact the teacher was horribly boring; however, most of us can relate to the situation.
4. The Pillow
I honestly did not realize—at first—that this was a pillow. I had to look at the images more than once.
If you don’t look closely, it seems as if you are looking at images from a horror movie. It could have been a Halloween-themed prank. If you walked into your house and saw a person sleeping on such a pillow, you might be kind of worried for a second or two.
Where could one acquire such a pillow? It is a great product. The person who designed it might be a bit sick in the head, but it is great.
5. The Two Cats
I am sure there are a lot of cat lovers out there; however, you have to admit they can be sort of creepy creatures. There are a lot of loving ones, granted, but there are also the ones you know will eat you if you forget to feed them for over three days or so.
I get the sense this is one of those animals. There’s definitely something unnatural going on in this image, and I am not sure I want to know what it is. I have looked at it a few times, and now I don’t want to look at it ever again.
6. The Top of the Pillar
Something in this image is definitely missing. I am assuming that the one pillar was damaged somehow. I don’t know where this image was taken, but it seems possible that a motor vehicle of some sort ran into it and knocked off that little thing at the top. There’s no easy way of knowing.
I really hope the decoration was knocked off. If not, the young woman in this image can’t be too terribly comfortable.
Personally, this is one of those images I looked at a few times—and now I want to forget I saw it.
7. The Genie
This image is really impressive. I have no idea how anyone pulled this one off. I am guessing that the image was manipulated by someone with a good deal of talent at editing photos, but I actually see no evidence of that. I have looked a few times.
The people walking by definitely look amused and intrigued.
Arguably, the most famous Genie is the one from the animated movie “Aladdin”, which was released by Disney in 1992. A lot of pretty famous people were attached to that project, including Robin Williams, Scott Weinger, and Gilbert Gottfried.
The film was very well received by critics, and it was also a commercial success. It earned over $500 million. As a result, there were sequels, and there was even a television show. In 2019, a live-action adaptation of the movie will be released. There was even a Broadway adaptation.
8. The Lawn On the Building
To an extent, I understand why people have grass and plants and stuff on top of their buildings. If you live in a city, you can’t really enjoy all that nature has to offer. There are people that really like being outside. They don’t care about the bugs or the weird creatures that randomly show up or the fact that maintaining a lawn is a giant pain in the butt.
I am worried for the person in this image. If he falls off of this building, there is little chance he will survive. His job does not seem ideal. I understand, of course, that it needs to be done. Still, you would think he would be a little more concerned about his own safety.
9. The Evil Cat and Its Many Mushrooms
First of all, that cat definitely looks evil. A lot of cats look evil at times, but this one looks particularly nasty.
What’s with the mushrooms? Why so many? There are enough there to feed a small army.
I did not think most cats particularly liked mushrooms, although at times they may be attracted to wild mushrooms due to their odor. According to veterinarians, neither cats nor dogs should eat them. They can actually be poisonous to your pet.
10. The Giraffe and the Airplane
I know giraffes are pretty tall creatures; however, they are not that tall. To see one outside of your plane window? That is scary stuff.
Giraffes are pretty intriguing, and the animal has been intriguing people since ancient times. The Egyptians kept them as pets. They were actually collected as well as displayed during Roman times. Julius Caesar himself put the first one on display in Rome.
They are still pretty popular today. Many parents are familiar with Sophie the Giraffe; that character has been used as a teether for decades now. A lot of movies, including “Madagascar”, feature giraffe characters.
11. The Dog Rug
This is the creepiest and most disturbing thing I have ever seen. I understand loving one’s pet very much. I have had a few pet dogs in my day, and there is one in particular I miss a great deal.
However, there is a fine line between love and obsession. Turning your dog into a rug is sort of obsessive.
I am assuming this is a sort of sick joke and the image of the dog was expertly manipulated. People can do really fantastic stuff with photo editing software these days.
I really hope this is a joke. The idea of the new dog humping the rug is horrifying.
12. The Pink Squirrel
Admittedly, this squirrel looks pretty cool. I like watching squirrels, but the color of their fur is generally pretty drab, so this is a refreshing change of pace.
I do not know how this squirrel got pink hair. I was not under the impression squirrels cared much about how they look. Maybe this squirrel fell into a paint bucket? It’d be neat if this squirrel was some sort of squirrel superhero, but cool stuff like that does not happen in real life.
13. The Dog With the Giant Legs
This is a strange dog. Those are some long legs. With legs like that, it deserved to appear on national television and meet Conan O’Brien.
I’m sure the dog is in a costume. While amusing, the dog can’t be comfortable.
Conan O’Brien, of course, has hosted several talk shows. He’s actually been working in late night television for over two decades. Currently, he stars on “Conan”, which appears on the cable network TBS in the United States. That show has been on the air since 2010.
In addition to being a late night television host, O’Brien was a writer for “Saturday Night Live and “The Simpsons”.
14. The Dog That Looks Like a Tiger
I have no idea why anyone would do this to an animal. It seems almost cruel. For one, it must take forever, and I can’t imagine the whole process is particularly cheap.
Don’t get me wrong—I think it looks cool. I just don’t see why anyone would subject their beloved pet to this. Was it for some sort of short film or something?
The dog does not look too bothered, though, so I guess it is not a big deal.
15. The Urinal On the Wall
Why would anyone do this? I suppose it could be some sort of joke, but it also seems like a lot of work for a joke.
I suppose it is possible that this particular restroom is in an establishment frequented by a giant?
Where is this restroom, anyway? Why are there so many urinals? What kind of business needs so many urinals? There’s well over a dozen of them, and those are just the ones you can see in the picture.
16. The Guy In the Woods
This is a great picture. You would swear the guy had tree branches for legs or he is missing half of his body.
I was trying to think if there would be any benefits to having tree branches for legs. Honestly, I can’t think of any advantages. You would definitely get attention, but probably not the kind of attention you really want. You might be enormously tall depending on the length of the branches, but that would make getting into buildings particularly difficult. I suppose they might allow you to kick really hard?
