Back in 2007 a 33-year-old man named Carlos Camejo was involved in a horrific car accident. He was crossing the street when a drunk driver somehow managed to hit him. Camejo was injured and completely knocked out. What happened next with him could be described as even more misfortunate than the original accident.
When the paramedics arrived at the scene of the crime they brought Carlos inside the ambulance and wrongly declared him “dead”. They knew he was simply knocked out unconscious but filled the wrong paperwork. When they brought him to the hospital Carlos was taken the morgue where the coroners began their autopsy.
After the first incision Carlos woke up screaming, because of the unbearable pain he suffered. It was just then when all the medical staff realized their horrific mistake. He was alive and was gonna make it. They were all shocked and didn’t know what to do. They decided to put him in the hallway and called the doctors from the hospital who declared him dead.
Meanwhile Later Carlos’ wife came to the morgue in order to identify her husband’s body. She was even more shocked that the doctors when she saw him alive in the hallway.

Wrong diagnosis is a common mistake that should not happen at all! In this particular situation the doctors would get in a huge trouble is he hadn’t survived. Thanks god he woke up and made it. I can bet that his wife was the happiest person in the world when seeing him alive in the hallway.
