Let’s face it – sometimes politicians infuriate us to such lengths that we wish we could throw a punch in their faces. But a woman from Arizona thought throwing a shoe was a better idea.
According to official reports, Alison Ernst from Phoenix, Arizona, managed to sneak into the crowd at the Mandalay Bay casino in Las Vegas while Hilary Clinton was giving a formal speech. The 36 year old Ernst was wearing a long blonde wig and a blue dress when she suddenly took off a trainer shoe and tossed in on the stage during Clinton’s speech. The shoe barely missed the 66 year old former First Lady’s head before the eyes of the shocked public. A video footage shows Ernst quickly moving amongst the crowd in hopes of escaping just before several security guards escorted her out of the room.
Clinton tried to make a sarcastic remark towards Ernst’s behavior by asking out loud if the whole scene was part of Cirque du Soleil.
