Many people believe tattoos have the ability to make someone’s body attractive and compelling. However, when your body art is misspelled you’re more likely to become the joke of the day instead of the becoming more attractive.
Back in 2009 Hayden Panettiere got a new tattoo in Italian. The 24 year old Nashville star, who has German and Italian roots, wanted a phrase that said “To live without regrets” in Italian. Unfortunately, her tattoo artist probably didn’t know Italian that well (obviously Panettiere also didn’t), because the final result translated into “To live without regretted”. And as if that isn’t bad enough, the fact that she’s a household name made sure that the whole world would see her misspelled tattoo! It’s not clear if Hayden knew was aware of this fact when she was getting the phrased engraved on her body, but what’s done is done.
In 2013 Panettiere decided it was high time to remove the fiasco from her body. In September 2013 a series of images circled the Internet, showing that she had already removed part of the misspelled phrase.
