The year 2013 was great in all aspects of filmmaking. We have witnessed the birth and rise of incredible movies that turned out to be huge box office successes such as Iron Man 3, The Hunger Games and the animated Despicable Me 2. These and many others were awesome to watch, but if we look back 20 years into the past we’ll find out this year did not offer us a great deal of memorable movies.
If we look into the past of filmmaking we’ll find out that in 1994 there were movies like Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption and the traditionally animated Lion King that were all in theaters at the same time. Some fans consider this year to be the most memorable year of all that gave us the best possible movies that inspired a whole generation to love going to the movies.
What an amazing experience it would’ve been to enter the movie theater only to find it hard to choose which movie to watch. Should it be the highest grossing animated movie of all times, the number one ranked best movie of all times at IMDB up to date, the super highly stylized Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction or the multiple Oscar decorated Forrest Gump?
