Kendall Jenner has filed a lawsuit against a beauty company that is using her name in false slogans and is suing them for $10 million!
Cutera, a company that’s selling acne-removal beauty creams, has been using Kendall Jenner’s name in attempts to up the sales of their products. The company is using images of Jenner and is claiming that her acne-related problems “completely ruined” her self-esteem. They are also claiming that the company’s products brought her back into the spotlight with a spotless skin and flawless complexion.
In reality, Kendall never used Cutera’s products and she didn’t even give them the authority to use her million-dollar face or name in their advertising. So, now she’s suing them for $10 million. The lawsuit claims that Jenner’s face easily makes seven figure sums just from advertising various products without even being hired as a spokesperson. In other words, since she can earn tens of millions of dollars just from lending her face to an ad, she can request the same amount from the beauty company, even though they have never partnered up. The $10 million lawsuit and Kendall’s situation is currently making headlines and the company that she’s suing is in the corner. Cutera’s officials haven’t commented on the case, but Jenner’s rights in this case are protected under the US law system, which means that she has every right to sue them for such amounts of money.
The 20 year old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV star’s modeling career has been so successful that she was named amongst the top highest paid models of 2015. Furthermore, her various partnerships, modeling gigs and products have brought her an envious net worth of more than $12 million. Jenner’s lawyers claim that they will “vigorously defend her rights”, which means that they won’t stop until they cash in those $10 million.
