The popular fashion and lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan featured the Kardashians on its November cover and dubbed them as “America’s First Family” in their cover story title. And now the entire Internet is going crazy over it.
The women of the Kardashian/Jenner clan – Kim, Kylie, Kendall, Khloe, Kourtney and Kris – posed together for a cover photo shoot for Cosmopolitan’s November issue this year. The fact that all six of them posed together for the very first time since the distant 2011 wasn’t going to be such big of a deal if Cosmopolitan didn’t decide to dub the Kardashian/Jenner family as “America’s First Family’. And they even put the tagline on the cover as well. This is exactly why American citizens (and people living outside the US as well) are going crazy over the fact that Cosmopolitan has swapped the Obama family’s status with the one of the infamous Kardashians. Internet users from everywhere are expressing their shock, frustration and anger regarding the subject on Twitter. The social media is swarming with tweets addressed to Cosmopolitan’s official Twitter page. Most of the tweets are pictures of the Obama family stating that they are the real First Family, while others are just pictures of the modified Cosmo cover with “fail” written all over the cover.
The November issue is yet to hit newsstands, but the web is already going crazy over yet another Kardashian-related thing. After all, everybody hates the Kardashians, but that doesn’t stop them from watching their reality TV series, buying their branded products, following them on the social media, and overall – making them even more popular. The Kardashians may not be America’s First Family, but the Kardashian/Jenner family surely is the most discussed and most hated family of all.
Cosmo, get your facts straight!
