It certainly pays well to be buddies with the notorious J. J. Abrams.
According to official reports, Abrams is considering the option of featuring Tom Cruise in the upcoming seventh episode of Star Wars. The producer is currently filming the episode in the Pinewood Studios in the UK, which is exactly where he met Cruise for a dinner last week. Abrams, Cruise and some other crew members reportedly had dinner at the Belgravia Hotel earlier this month during Cruise’s stay in London. The reports state that Abrams, who has already worked with Cruise on Mission: Impossible III, Ghost Protocol and the fifth sequel, which is set to hit theaters next year, is allegedly pleased to work with Cruise whenever he can. Therefore, he’s considering featuring the 51 year old actor in a cameo appearance for the upcoming Star Wars movie.
Apart from Cruise, the Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie from Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games: Mocking Jay 1 and 2 were recently signed for Star Wars VII.
