Are you ready for the next installment of the Paul saga? It seems these brothers just can’t stay out of the news lately. It is almost as if they are doing it on purpose for the free publicity. Hmmmm.
Lately it has mostly been Logan in the news with his debacle upon entering Japan’s suicide forest and filming a dead body that he came across hanging from a tree, and just a few days ago, his mistreatment of animals when he used a taser on dead mice.
Logan has fallen from grace, so to speak, and lost all of his ability to make money from YouTube, finally. He seemed to think he had The world on a string and license to do whatever he pleases in the name of getting likes and views.
Jake Paul, on the other hand, sticks to mostly juvenile and wild antics. Nothing too controversial so far. The 21 year old makes music videos and “the most lit” vlogs on YouTube as the leader of the Team 10 House.
He has come under fire recently for a few things. He was fired from his Disney Channel show, Bizaardvark, in which he has starred for several years, last summer amid complaints that his antics on YouTube aren’t suitable for the young audience of the show.
More recently, he dropped a song filled with the use of the N word, which everyone in 2018 should know is a no no. What was he thinking?
Jake and his friends post a lot of silly things. Some stunts that look mildly dangerous. Some antics that are beyond silly. But it works. Millions of people (including my tween daughter) watch them everyday. And Jake has a growing bank account to show for it.
This week, he apparently called out his “enemy,” another YouTube star, KSI.
KSI, a 25 year old YouTube star from England, also works as a comedian and rapper. He has also gotten work in acting. He’s an entertainer in every sense of the word. In October 2017, he reached over three billion views and over 17 million subscribers. His is the 42nd most subscribed to channel on the social media platform.

His music is becoming very well known as of late. He released his EP “Keep Up” in 2016, and it went to number one on the UK R&B Albums Chart, and it charted in several other countries as well.

Jake was born on January 17, 1997, making him 21 years old. He got his start on Vine, which no longer exists. He had 5 million followers on the now nonexistent app, and moved on to YouTube to continue building his audience.
Both guys have found huge success on YouTube and I can’t imagine why they are even bothering with anything but having fun and enjoying it. Diss tracks are popular, though, and it seems to be something they both like to do, so here we are.
The beef seems to be that KSI and his brother Deji have posted some videos calling Jake Paul an offensive word that starts with a p and ends with a y. Not a nice word at all. And I’m more than a little suspicious that this is all for show.
It’s a long standing Youtube feud and now Jake seems to want to put it to an end once and for all. He decided to challenge KSI and his brother to a real life MMA style fight. He even had an MMA style octogon cage erected in the living room of his home.
KSI insists that he wouldn’t be interested in an MMA style fight because he has not been trained for it. He prefers boxing. Jake Paul claims that boxing isn’t real fighting because of the padded gloves and all.
Jake offered KSI $100,000 if he beat him in a fight, getting really weird with the conditions, saying they could switch styles each round, between boxing and MMA.
This comes after KSI fought musician Joe Weller last month, and easily knocked him out. He has also posted videos about coming to the United States to look for Jake, or any of the Pauls, to settle the score with. What are they even beefing about? I don’t think anyone knows for sure.
I’m not down to see these fellas fight, but I have a feeling that if it does happen, it will have millions of views without me there. Who do you think will emerge victorious?
