The Average Size Woman Is No Longer A Size 14

It may sound unbelievable, but the average woman size is not 2, 4 or 6. It’s hard to believe this, because every day we see on social media how thin and lean the celebrities are. But in the real life, it’s not exactly like that. We have some good news for everybody.

Information from 10 years ago shows that the average size of women in America is actually 14.

Nowadays ladies with perfectly sculpted shapes show up everywhere in the social media which might be disturbing or offensive to other women. Yes, it is offensive, because they feel pressured to change their bodies.

A new study performed among 5,500 American women (20-year-old and older) proves that the average size has increased between sixteen and eighteen. This is a very important news for all women.

Hopefully, the fashion designers will also pay attention to the latest stats.

It will be good if the clothing companies start making larger sizes, because now there are many stores that don’t have bigger than size twelve. This will be good for both women and the fashion industry.

It could be very disappointing if you don’t fit in the jeans or the jacket you fell for. It will be very good and fun if the industry makes the shopping a little more comfortable for women with normal size.
