Dwayne Douglas Johnson also known as the Rock is an American actor and former WWE wrestler. At first he was a college football player and he was one of the best. After graduating college he was cut of CSL and this is the main reason he decided to start wrestling. In 1995 he gave an official start to his professional wrestling career.

Before The Rock made it to the WWE, his father Rocky Johnson and his grandfather High Chief Peter Maivia had also been Superstar wrestlers. His first stage name was Rocky Maivia.

2. The Rock had a role in ‘Star Trek: Voyager’ in 2000

Dwayne Johnson played an alien gladiator in the science fiction TV series. He became a full time actor after retiring from WWE. Another little known fact is that he’s the first WWE wrestler in history to make appearance in Star Trek.

4. The Rock turned down an offer from Dunkin’ Donuts
