They say that nothing lasts forever and we believe this is the truth! It appears that this is valid regardless if we like it or not. All things come to an end and they are often worn down in the process. We guess that people never want certain things in their life to fade away but there is rarely something they could do about it. The following list shows how things change in time and how they fade away.
1. The dog
Dogs love riding in vehicles because they find it to be part of their playtime. This canine seems to love hanging out this particular door, judging from the paint on it.
2. The monument
Here is what happens when tens of thousands of people touch a monument. The original finish is completely different in the most reachable areas.
3. The stir stick
This is one really interesting picture. It shows the paint that kept sticking to a stir stick over a one-year period. The stick is like an art piece!
4. The rug
You may not notice this at first, but there is a rug on this pavement. It is worn to the point it almost went invisible. It must be at least a decade old.
5. The stone
Here is part of the stones of an Italian castle. The constantly dripping rain deformed the stone for more than 700 years until it looked like this.
6. The brick wall
This is one curious image. Someone found a section of a brick wall but it seems that it was shaped by the flowing water for a really long time.
7. The tire
Here is one really interesting idea. The tire has a hidden message when it gets worn to the point it needs replacing. All tires should have these features.
8. The tracks
This image reveals a completely forgotten pavement and tracks that were covered by asphalt. Heavy rains damaged the asphalt and revealed this.
9. The circle
This image is very curious! It shows the ring created around this pool. The culprit is also in the image – the dog kept running in circles for years and created the ring.
10. The bowls
This pho shop has an unconventional way of using old bowls. Even after they are chipped, the staff smooths the rough edge and the bowl is used again.
11. The chain
This is one beautiful image and it almost looks like a piece of art. As you can see, the chain rusted away and it looks just like wood. That is fascinating to see.
12. The Doberman
Sometimes, unintended results are the best ones possible. Someone created a Doberman sculpture but it started looking like one when it started to rust.
13. The pumpkin
Someone carved this pumpkin three years ago and decided to keep it. As you can see, it now looks like a piece of art.
14. The TV screen
Here is something you don’t see every day. This old TV screen has a faulty back but it looks like the old Pacman game which is cool!
15. The door
It seems that people are not aware of these little things but we are glad someone noticed it. This is a door that kept bumping into a hanging bell for 50 years.
16. The sign
We believe that people are not able to withstand the power of nature and neither could the signs created by them.
17. The pipe
Here is one really cool thing to see. This is a very old water pipe cut in half and you can see layers built up inside.
18. The car
The memories of your first car are priceless. This person saw his first car – it was where he left it 40 years ago after an engine failure.
19. The wall
Here is a chunk taken off the wall of a Detroit auto factory. This is the kind of industrial art we would love to see any day!
20. The rusted piece
We have seen rusted elements many times before but they were nothing like this one. Rust can obviously create amazing patterns.
21. The thermos
Here is an amazing comparison image. You can see what 48 years of regular use can do to a thermos and we absolutely love the patina.
22. The teddy bear
Toys can never last for a lifetime unless they are stored away. This stuffed toy was obviously hugged for decades!
23. The lion head
We guess that people miss out on the small but beautiful things we see every day. This lion head is one such moment worth seeing.
24. The clipboard
It appears that some individuals want to keep their possessions for a lifetime. This clipboard was used by a woman to solve crosswords for three decades.
25. The dye drips
When the dye is dripping for many years, it forms the most beautiful patterns. You can see the effect it created here.
26. The code
These people should probably change their entry code because you can easily see what it is. This keyboard is completely worn and it is interesting to see it.
27. The tree
It seems that nature can take back whatever it wants. This tree is slowly stripping a sign of its paint and we love the end result!
28. The sign
The vinyl face of this sign has faded away and it transformed the font. It now looks like the name of a heavy metal group, for example.
29. The license
Here is a driving license that is approximately a century old. It was issued in Yorkshire and it is printed on a piece of cloth instead of paper.
30. The shift knob
This is one image that most of us could relate to. The knob is worn down to the point it is no longer a leather item but a plastic one.
31. The piano
Piano keys are robust but they cannot last forever, of course. This particular instrument was obviously used for a really long time.
32. The flip flop
It seems that flip flops are the best summer footwear but this one is not a quality item. The shoe on the right was left in the sun for two months and it shrunk in size.

Here is one curious image. The bolt on the right is close to the sea and you can see how worn it is compared to the nearest one.

It appears that it takes time for people to see how the surroundings change. It took ten years for a piano player to polish the right pedal with his foot.

Here is what it takes for a student to finish four years of educations. This student kept all the pens they used and it is fascinating to see them.
36. The path
Someone used the quarantine period to exercise and went running every day up the same hill. The person eventually created their own path.

Here is how a brick and mortar footrest in an old bar looks like after years of use. The bricks faded faster than the mortar did.
38. The water path
The power of water is undeniable and this image shows why. As you can see, the water gradually washed away the top concrete layer.

Here is how a stainless steel bolt can fade away in time when exposed to vibrations. It looks like a piece of art.

This dog aged and some of his hair turned white, including the dark circles around its eyes. It is super curious to see it!
