According to law enforcement, actor Mark Salling is dead of an apparent suicide. The actor, who was 35 years old, is best known for starring on Glee.
His body was reportedly found in Sunland, California, which is where he lived.
The actor, who starred on the hit television series Glee as Noah Puckerman, was awaiting sentencing at the time of his death. He had pleaded guilty to possessing over 50,000 images of child pornography. A portion of that pornography included images of minors who were pre-pubescent.

In August, it was thought that Salling attempted suicide after his arrest; however, his lawyer claimed that it was not a suicide attempt.
It seemed likely that Salling would have served somewhere between four and seven years for his crimes. The actor also needed to register as a sex offender. As is typical in sex offender cases, there was also a ban on his going within 100 feet of public swimming pools, schoolyards, parks, and video arcade-type establishments.
Allegedly, a woman tipped off the police about Salling’s criminal activity after she had been shown his “collection” on more than once occasion. The images, of which there were thousands, were downloaded between April 2015 and the end of that year. Because he used software to mask his IP, nobody knew what he was doing—until the aforementioned woman tipped off law enforcement.

Years ago, Roxanne Gorzela made the claim that the actor that the Glee actor actually forced her into having unprotected sex with him. She also made the claim that—when he was confronted by her days later—he forced her to the ground, which injured her knees.
That whole situation resulted in a 2.7 million dollar settlement, and it is believed that Gorzela may have been the woman who gave authorities the tip that led to Salling’s arrest for child pornography. This, however, has not been proven—and may not be the case.
The out-of-court settlement occurred in 2015.
During the court case regarding the aforementioned unprotected sex, Gorzela was blamed for being “negligent”, as she did not force Salling to wear a condom.
When she decided to confront Salling, she allegedly found another woman in the actor’s bed, and that’s when he reportedly pushed her to the floor, causing Gorzela to hit her head.
He was accused of assault and battery, sexual battery, and other crimes as a result. This happened in 2013. Salling denied all allegations against him.
Glee was an American comedy-drama that aired on FOX from May of 2009 until March of 2015. It revolved around a glee club at a fictional high school and how the club dealt with various social issues—such as race, sexuality, and teamwork.
As stated above, Mark Salling played Noah Puckerman, also known as “Puck”. He was in the pilot episode, and he remained with the series until its finale, which aired on the 20th of March in 2015. Salling was nominated for a Teen Choice Award in 2010 for his portrayal of Puck. He was also nominated again in 2011.
When the show started, Salling’s character was a football player who was also a bully at the fictional high school that served as a setting for the show. His character was best friends with Finn, the football team’s quarterback. He had a pool-cleaning business that resulted in his having sexual relationships with his older female clients. Puck also has sexual relationships with his fellow students. He was also initially portrayed as homophobic, and Puck made fun of his friend Finn for joining the glee club. At the end of the series, Puck is dating the character Quinn.
As Puck, Salling is featured on many of the show’s songs available for download, not to mention Glee’s soundtrack albums. His first solo number was “Sweet Caroline”—the Neil Diamond hit song—which was received well by critics.
Prior to his death, Salling was romantically linked to many well-known actresses, including Audrina Partridge, Naya Rivera, and Denyse Tontz.
Raised in Dallas, Texas, Salling grew up in a Christian family and was home-schooled at an early age until he was sent to religious schools. In 2001, he graduated from Lake Highlands High School.
His trial over the possession of child pornography began on September 12th of 2017, and he pleaded guilty on the 30th of that month. The plea was formalized in December, and he was set to be sentenced in March of this year.
